I never thought I'd get into quilting or quilts...I think a lot of times we just think of early-American, really "country" patchworked blankets when we think of quilts, but one day I realized that quilts can be a modern mix of colors and patterns, and oh, I realized it was everything I loved in one useful blanket. And being open to that wonderful mix of styles and scraps has even made me appreciate more "traditional" quilts as well.
I'm sure I'll be posting quilts from all around the house and web in the future, but for now, here is some gorgeous artwork (from 20x200) that I love -- perhaps because it reminds me of quilts.
