I thought I'd show you quickly how I made Cole's cute little name bunting!
First, I picked out four fabrics. I'm pretty lucky that his name's so short!
I purposely picked pastels that would go with his Winnie-the-Pooh nursery, and I knew I wanted brown fabric for the letters to create a nice contrast.
I made a paper pattern of my pennant triangle (just by eyeballing and trial and error) and then traced it on each piece of fabric. Then I folded the fabric wrong sides together and pressed.
I sewed each triangle with a reinforced stitch in brown thread.

Then I cut about 1/4" from the stitching lines with my pinking rotary cutter. (I love that thing!)
Here's all four!
I used Heat n' Bond Ultra to cut the letters out on my trusty Cricut!
(I know I owe you a post about Heat n' Bond Ultra and the Cricut.)

Lastly, I sewed some thick gray yarn across the top of them to hold the bunting together. I like the "natural" cottage-y look of the yarn.
And, one more time, the finished product!!
