The Basics - Tools
Sewing room tools can be an essential part of making your project go easily and smoothly. Having and using the proper tools for a particular job is often the difference between thinking something is "easy" or "hard."
I have tried quite a few sewing tools in my varying projects. I haven't tried them all, but sometimes it feels like I have! Here I'll list for you the tools I use most often and when and why I use them. They're not all necessary for everyone, but if you're looking for the right tool for a certain job, here is my advice!
As I try out new things, and find great new tools, I will update and add them to my list. If they're worthy that is!

Marking Tools
Cutting Tools
Measuring Tools
(Let me just say that while I will be showing you a lot of amazing tools and gagets that I use, you must know that I am not a millionaire. I buy all these things when my local fabric (or craft) store has a good sale on notions or rulers or whatever, or online when there are sales, or when I get coupons from my local quilt shop or sewing machine dealer. I make sure to sign up for all their fliers or email lists to be sure I know when the sales are going on or when the coupons are coming out. That’s really the best way to stock up on all these cool things and save a little money (because as you will see, I usually have multiples of all these tools!)
